CROSSFIELD
Fill every square with one player who connects the row’s club with the column’s criterion. Nine squares, one shared career each.
How it works
- Each row is a club; each column is a club, a nationality, or a league.
- Tap an empty square, then name a player whose career satisfies both headers (e.g. played for Liverpool and is Irish).
- Every player can be used once - chase a full nine. One fresh grid a day; sign in for unlimited shuffles.
- Beat the clock. Give up reveals a valid answer for every remaining square.

Tap one of your open squares, then name a player who fits it.
How versus works
- You are X, your friend is O. Take turns, X goes first.
- Pick a board scope before you challenge - all football, one league, or international only.
- The game only starts once both players are on the board - until then the clock waits.
- You get 30 seconds a go. Run out of time and the turn swaps to your friend.
- On your turn, pick an empty square and name a player who fits both headers to claim it with your mark.
- A wrong, unknown, or already-used pick forfeits your turn - choose carefully.
- Don't fancy the board? Suggest a reshuffle before any square is claimed - if your friend accepts, you get a fresh grid with nobody winning or losing.
- Stalemate brewing? Offer a 🤝 draw - if your friend accepts, the match ends level and you can jump straight into a rematch.
- No friends online? Hit 🌍 Find an opponent to get matched with a random player on the same board scope.
- First to three in a row (any direction) wins. If the board fills first, most squares wins. Any empty squares are revealed with a valid answer at the end.
