How to Play FourPlayers
FourPlayers is a football trivia game about teammates. Each round shows four footballers with the club they played for. Exactly one player in football history has played club football alongside all four, and your job is to name him. Type a name, hit guess, and the board tells you instantly whether you found the connector.
Every wrong guess reveals one of the four club connections, in order from the first player to the fourth. That turns each round into a controlled descent: the fewer hints you need, the better your solve. Surnames and common spellings are accepted, so the test is your football memory, not your typing.
There are three ways to play from this page. Campaign takes you through 100 levels of increasing difficulty, saving your progress as you go. Endless deals you puzzle after puzzle for as long as your streak survives. Level of the Week is a single hand-picked challenge, refreshed every Monday, with a written clue to point you in the right direction.
The best solving strategy is to start from the least famous player on the board. Star players have hundreds of former teammates; the squad man who moved between four mid-table clubs has far fewer, and he is usually the door into the puzzle.
